My Pack

We have three dogs and two cats of our own plus an endless array of foster dogs and cats in our family at all times. I seem to love living in a zoo and thankfully my boyfriend is very tolerant.

Mamah is my spunky JRT terrier and my first dog. I adopted her from a rural shelter in Indiana. I tease that she is my "practice puppy" because I have learned so much from her. We have been on so many adventures together and I cannot imagine life without my little pumpkin.

Lucia is my super shy shepherd and only foster failure with LDCRF so far. She came to us close to feral from the streets of Puerto Rico. I drove to Tennessee to save this little lady when she escaped from her adopters and we have an unbreakable bond forged by trust and love. We even made the news - see the article online! She is my forever project pup who grows braver and more confident every day.

Apollo is our eternal puppy and pit bull ambassador to the world. We adopted him from LDCRF as a baby on Halloween after meeting him in his lobster costume. He is pure joy and his entire butt wiggles when he sees people. There is no pup happier than our Apollo pollo!

Meya and Myle are our two black kitties. They are sisters, but so different. Meya is the confident love bug who is always nuzzling you for attention. Myle is the reserved little one with extra soft fur and big yellow eyes. They tolerate our crazy puppies and keep them in line.
